Introducing Henry a.k.a Snorfy

The Ken Man has been travelling for several weeks and we have not had the chance to discuss names properly. He came home on the weekend and immediately found his breakfast bowl under attack. The name "Snorfy" seems so appropriate.

This chap seems to be willing to try anything

Mr Snorfles has a go at chili with cabbage
He has grown 50% in weight since arriving. Was 1.2 Kg - Now 1.8Kg

Snorfmeister comes after my french toast - so does little girlie for that matter
He is the labrador of the cat world. Anything on the floor gets taken. Tough luck for bugs.

Sir Snorfsalot has a penchant for chocolate cake
Snorflicious went for The Ken Man's homemade choc chip cookies
Everything chocolate has to be rescued from the snorfleburgler
The worst moment came yesterday - I decided to have steak for dinner. Worst. Decision. Ever.

It was two against one in the battle for my dinner.

Uncontrollable little marauders. Tonight's dinner was eaten on the kitchen benchtop - standing up - where they cannot jump.

As I write this, I hear him licking his bowl clean. Snorfy is a really appropriate name for this little man.

OMG!! I am NOT eating!

I'll still call him Henry when The Ken Man is not around.

Milestone! Climbing to the top of the cat tree

The munchkins have conquored cat tree climbing

They'll sit in the sun and little girlie is mesmorised by the birds outside.

Little man doesn't seem to notice or care. He's just sitting there with his happy little kitten thoughts

Which are probably something like: Hey Lady! Is it breakfast time now?

Which was enough to finally distract her from her important bird twitching tasks

Of course the obvious thing to do next is to wrestle to the floor.

End of polite posing for today.

Meet Ms. Chocolate

Here she is, in all her rich chocolately goodness

She is very timid about big scary humans. I didn't see her for the first 24 hours as she was under the couch with the daddy long legs.

Cleaning up the spider webs under there
So it's hard to get a photo of her. She never ventured very far from that hidey hole

I call her Ms. cause she has been desexed now.

She independent and very rambunctious when playing - now!  Every day she comes out of her shell a bit more. I've gotta stay at least 1 foot away! She only comes to me on her terms!

yep - more spider webs

She defers to her brother alot - then again she doesn't have much chance when food is involved. However, she does love her brother and does everything with him.

She's a quiet, independent, gentle, sweet little thing.

One day she might let me tickle her tummy

Meet Mr Lilac!

Meet Mr Lilac

Look at the little legs

Still working on kitteh names for the kittehs - something that suits. This bloke is confident, snuggly and friendly!

He's also tiny!
and hungry! Look at the belly on him!
Only been here for 24 hours and I am calling him Sir Snorfsalot. This bloke packs it away!

I'm a tiger!
He's not even as long as a 1 foot floor tile

Whiskers!
I'll just wait politely here whilst you work out my name.
My gorgeous little man

KITTENS HAVE ARRIVED!!

What a weekend for me!

2 teeny tiny fluffy wuffy bouncey schmoucey squishy squashy munchy chewy squeaky kittens are here!

It isn't 24 hours yet and they are still a bit skittish. Miss Chocolate is still living under the couch. Mr Lilac is going to be my Oscar Cat replacement - he is eating everything he comes across. He is settling in much faster and very relaxed with my manhandling.

My last cats - Oscar and Muffy - where 6.5 and 5.5 kilos respectively, and these guys are about 1 kilo each. They are REALLY small!
